I sign up for this all in 2019 for this is the first time I’ve logged in.I bought a place in 2018, remodeled and sold in 2022 and chased my dream of 20 years of moving to Jackson Wy however investing here in not an option since I’m not a billionaire sooooo I am planning my next moves and looking to invest.I have roughly $30K (potentially $50K) to invest in a flex and flip as I’m not sure I could do the landlord thing.I have been looking in places I would like to actually live which is eastern Oregon, North central/East Tennessee, Rapid City or Naples-Clearwater Florida areas.Any help or ideas would be awesome!

Hey Ferrode, definitely add Detroit to your list of places to investigate.I've been investing there since 2019, and I live in California.

I live in South Florida and have been working with different section 8 programs from Miami Dade County, Broward, Tampa Bay Area, Orlando, Jacksonville, etc...

We live in Unit 1 and Unit 2 is rented out.

Buy a place for you to live and learn to be an investor right in your backyard. 

HI Hernan,You can always start off by house hacking meaning you live in one UNIT or ROOM and renting out the other vacant units/rooms to offset your monthly mortgage payment.There are several ways to run and make sure you are maximizing your rental income while keeping your living expense as low as possible.

The property is 45 minutes from where I live in a town that is growing and am very familiar with so I plan on doing most of the management work. 

I'm biased since I live in Cobb County, but markets such as Acworth, Kennesaw, and Cartersville could be options for you to explore.Furthermore, so you're aware, acquiring a fix-n-flip deal on-market is going to be difficult.

My end goal is simple- to have freedom in life and not have to worry about money and to be able to live a life I WANT to live.Thanks in advance!
