He bought it 3 years ago for 130,000, and did a little work on it recently.The sign on it now has a few letters and a phone number, not a real estate agent or company.After reading a TINY bit here, I wonder if that seller now is a wholesaler, or at least someone who bought it at a lot less and is now asking the same as what the original fellow had.

I just signed up and I figure the education I'll get couldn't hurt, but I was wondering if anyone here has earned one of those $1,000 checks for finding them a deal.

It is not automatically a sign of laziness or cowardice as many comments seem to imply.

I signed with Weichert they get a month's rent to find me a tenant.I am surprised how little they are working to find me a tenant.I signed for the section 8 housing , I assumed that I would getting more offers.I check comparable rents.I have a better place and better location then others getting similar rents.Thank you for your help

My spouse and I are about to get into owning rental property (signing our first offer today) and I am getting cold feet.

The realtor we're working with told us today hours before we went to sign our bid paperwork that she ran our bid by the seller verbally and he said no way.

The best way to find out rent in the area is to call some of the people that have out for rent signs.

I had hoped for a call from him on Monday, but I saw the sold sign on Sunday.

However the deed is signed at the escrow company just so you have a deed to file when the contract is complete.
