I have a partnership between myself and two colleagues - we have a multi-member LLC set up with a pretty long and detailed operating agreement for how we will handle all the different scenarios.

I know people that manage their own vacation rentals and claim to "net" $6,000 a month but don't account for the 40 hours they spent answering calls, booking reservations, greeting guests, handling maintenance, or whatever else is involved. 40 hours may be an exaggeration, but you get the point.

How was it discovered, and how did you handle it?

The requests were handled expeditiously but in both cases a part is required to repair the item that has taken a long time to come in due to COVID.

I could handle four days in person, but my family and children don’t always see me as working if I’m at the house or in my office. :)

I’ve called the county office that handles the sale several times to get more info about wether the tax sale wipes out existing liens or if the county even notifies the lien holders, to no avail.
