The floor drain should be going under the slab to the sewer line and then to the main in the street.

There are a couple gated subdivisions that seem to have made it, but there are alot of land/homes down randomly developed streets that never did anything but sit.I recommend starting in ocala/gainesville if you're set on buying in this area.

If the neighbors say there are loud parties late at night or cars parked in spaces assigned to the neighbors (not spaces on a public street that the neighbors just like to use), then the neighbors have a legitimate complaint.

What specific neighborhood / streets are you looking at? 

None of the folks I mentioned that I've talked to on the street appear to be under 40. 

My family grew up in East NY and own two buildings on Van Siclen Street.

There's a house on my street that the owner died in, and had no heirs living in the US.
