I have done some research and will probably use a Hard money lender.

Like I said I like/love real estate and would be happy to do it full time, but I need capital and so I will work for a few years so I'm still just doing my research here.

In my research of county owned Tax Liens, I've found a couple that are for the common area of a sub-division (lake and park), and a townhouse community (street and parking lot).If I purchased the lien, and then ended up the the deed, could I say block access for the residents if they didn't pay me for my time, expense and some profit?

The research generally will show questionable things which is why they are leasing.

I'm currently invested in a couple SFRs and plan to grow that portfolio for a few more years, but I want to start doing and accumulating research to better formulate my plan for years to come.Anthony

Also, I am not looking to spend a lot of time managing this beyond the initial research, due-diligence required, etc for initial investment(s) and further acquisitions down the road as the climate dictates (ie, real estate investing won’t be my full-time job).

I will do some more research on the records and see what's there regarding this property and see where that leads me.
