Hi Ruben, I personally love Columbus Ohio and as someone who works with a lot of out of state investors - there's so many catalysts for why you should invest here.

Also, look to invest in areas with economic bases and that result in economic growth.I work with a lot of California investors and they love investing in cities like Columbus for the reasons I described above. 

That's the big risk, is you don't know where the banks will be in six or 12 months when you're completed the renovations, and you also don't know their seasoning requirements for how long they need to see renters in there before they are comfortable lending.Just my experience, Would love to connect!
