So that means compared to a booming market like northern Atlanta, in Columbus you would be even pickier about location, demographics, the price you are willing to pay, etc.For me the bottom line is this - I don't actively hunt for deals in Columbus, but I would definitely buy the right property in the right part of town for the right price.

Having just gone through this earlier in November, depending on if you're purchasing for yourself or a rental/flip, it might just be better to find the cheapest appliances that fit your needs, rather than hunt for the discount.

I prefer Tahoe, I lived in Reno, Carson, Minden over the years and the daily afternoon winds coming down into the valley just make it miserable (for me). west side in the trees was the only house I had that wasn't miserable in the wind because it had the charm of rustling trees but out in the valley it's treeless and annoying. if its just for investment and you wont have to live in the wind there are still deals if you hunt. a friend of mind found a great deal inn the Ranchos, easily fit into 70%arv model which was surprising in this market.

If you rent on VRBO, Pinellas county will hunt you down (they are going through the listings and identifying the owners and how long they have been renting) and they make sure you have registered with Pinellas County to pay the taxes which you have to do every month, whether you had any rental income or not, or they fine you $50.
