One tip that I picked up here is while you are starting out and saving money for your investments, start driving / visiting areas you would like to invest in so you get a feel for prices, rents , house conditions etc, and visit and look at lots of homes and open houses so your eye get used to looking at repairs / upgrades that are normal in a particular market.

I guess: 6 hours to paint (including dry time and touch up), an hour to pour, over the first few hours I have to keep brushing the edges and catching droplets on the underside, and then 2 days to fully cure. 

I am in Asia for work at the moment with some spare time and catching up on my BP reading.  

So im guessing, the main goal would be eyes on a small duplex or triplex for sale? 

You would have to catch them actually getting someone caught up in their scam.
