Ideally, each room should have it's own circuit for receptacles, lighting should be a separate circuit but you can put multiple rooms of lighting on one circuit.

Its a 1945 story and a half house with slanted 2n't floor ceilings and no attic.You can see most new tape joints as they are soggy, all lights filled up with water, outlets had water dribbling out of them, even basement had plenty of water dripping into it.
