I currently have coverage through Auto-Owners but the independent broker prefers to talk to my husband (who is not involved in the business) instead of me (I guess because I'm a woman???)

Not just asking about a specific property they own because it limits their answer to yes or no rather than thinking about all their properties. 

I prefer Vrbo than any form of Airbnb. 

For me, it is really whatever that particularly lender prefers, my commercial properties my lenders ask for LLCs to hold titles, so I do.

He could be in a world of hurt if he failed to hold the deposit in escrow all this time, so by challenging us and forcing us to take the legal route, he’s subjecting himself to a whole can of worms that he’d prefer to not open.

I in no way was trying to come off as negative towards him, I was just trying to paint a picture of the reputation and properties he has.for the rest of it, I tried to have a conversation with the wife but she was not home (communicated through a doorbell haha), very nice person but she said that they prefer for people not to come to their house for business… totally understandable!

@Brian McCombs, I would talk to your accountant and find out what they prefer, if anything.

But I appreciate that, I prefer advice to be blunt because it makes me really think about my actions and get back on track.
