when you have somebody willing to pay over 2.5m you are going to get people that want in river oaks, blvd oaks , west u maybe, memorial hedwig etc...not a condo...yes i know condos trade and yes i know that theres a ton being built...but those are not factors working for you.right now oil and gas execs have a lot of risk on the horizon, they are your target market in my opinion.

From my opinion, HELOCs seem to be a great vehicle for someone who needs cash for a temporary or short term basis, in this situation you can even get an added bonus of only paying interest and deducting the full amount on your taxes, but for an investor who likes to buy and hold long term and lock in risk without variable rates I don't think this is the best option.

Before anyone suggests building a home or putting a mobile on it, I am aware of that option but this post is specifically to ask about your opinion on putting storage units on these empty lots.Please consider that these are 'average' areas so a sheet metal structure with a chainlink fence around would be out of the question.
