Atlanta Beltline Bus Tour

I recently went on a tour of the Atlanta Beltline via the bus. For those of you who aren't familiar with Atlanta or even the Beltline. It was a project started this decade where the city of Atlanta has repurposed an old rail system (out of use) and is putting in connected neighborhood parks, 10-ft wide bike, scooter, walk, run path, and a light rail system adjacent to it, all the way around the downtown area of Atlanta. I love what the Beltline has become and the urban development it has created in Atlanta. Now for the tour... The tour starts on the Eastside trail and takes you south, by air conditioned bus, along the trail, with a guide who talks for the next 3 hours about what the Beltline is, how it came to be, the history of the neighborhoods, the real estate development happening (why I went), and what the path of development is over the next decade. It was a very insightful look at the ITP (inside the I-285 perimeter) neighborhoods that the Beltline goes through, where potential real estate flips/LT buy and holds could be located and where the city is putting its money to work. You can see where MANY people are far ahead of the curve and where some are starting to invest, but the neighborhoods are still bad. It is eye opening and exciting if you know Atlanta or want to invest here. Much of it is an appreciation play and not so much cash-flow in my opinion, but still worth paying attention to. The cost is $25/ticket - well worth it even for a tourist attraction, you learn so much about Atlanta and its history along the way. Any questions let me know.
