Storage units with single family properties

Hi all. I have 2 properties with similar situations in regards to my question to you...

Property 1 is small duplex with 2 entire lots (empty) next to it. As well it has a massive garage behind it.

Property 2 is a 2 br single family with 3 lots next to it that the owner wants to sell for really cheap.

Before anyone suggests building a home or putting a mobile on it, I am aware of that option but this post is specifically to ask about your opinion on putting storage units on these empty lots.

Please consider that these are 'average' areas so a sheet metal structure with a chainlink fence around would be out of the question.

Are there storage units pleasing to the eye that would work in your experience(s)?

Thank you!
