They want to rent the property for a certain rate, then they will furnish it and rent it out to Airbnb guests for a significantly higher rate and produce a profit.if the property is zoned for short-term rental in the market supports it, you would be better off finding a short-term rental property manager to do this for you and produce a greater profit for yourself.

I have a HELOC for about $200k for any down payment/other expenses, but the whole project including purchase ($280-300k), rehab ($80-100k), and furnishing ($30-40k) will cost about $390-440k.

We do this all the time even on AirBnBRRRRs that have no operating history at all and just got the place furnished and listed.
