I'm fairly new to the forums myself, but I've been listening to the podcast (which you should probably check out if you haven't already) and reading articles on the site for over a year now and I'm getting ready to jump in and start on my first deal as well. 

 So this is my first post in the forum's as a member of the BP community. 

@Mike Dymski- great quote- We can turn this thread into a forum for sharing your favorite quotes/concepts from his book :)I personally loved the idea that people are emotional and that negotiating is not about reaching a logical agreement, but more about making the other side FEEL things, like they should feel in control, understood etc.I'll post a quote next time I am on this website and have my book handy :)
