Example: The value subjected to capital gains of the rentals will be approximately $400,000 due to appreciation. 

They have been investing in Columbus for the strong appreciation and cash flow.

But I'd appreciate hearing about some of those neighborhoods and if they would not only give a good ROI, but also be a good place for me to live.

However, I never recommend holding appreciating assets, such as real estate, in a S-corp as it causes problems down the line.  

Are you cash flow oriented, appreciation oriented, looking at resale value, etc. what class markets/neighborhoods are you considering?
