Although my wife and I are excited, I know that we could be doing more to grow our money (I also know that many people don't tie in equity to NW, and these numbers are skewed if we keep our home forever).

I do not feel as though the pet fee they paid means they don't have to keep floors clean, I needed to pay a professional carpet cleaner to try to remove the dog smell.

And the more I look at the numbers in Lewisville, the more I'm seeing that rent prices are no longer keeping up with equity appreciation (which, in the case of me now owning a few properties, will be a good problem to have in a few years).

Hey @Carlos Martinez - I'm a broker & investor in NYC. 1 - Technically getting insurance is on you, BUT it doesn't mean the agent shouldn't be helping you by giving some recommendations lol... it's an odd thing to tell your client that it's not your job anymore. 2 - In terms of paying out of pocket the commission difference, it depends on what agreement you had with your agent.
