I had one HVAC company charging me 3x the Home Depot price of a heater, so I got a good contractor (had him some 15ys now) to do the job for 2x - - nice savings.Had an issue with a well know plumbing company wanting 14k to tear out a bathtub and jackhammer the foundation to solve a backup problem :ouch:  I put the job out to bid and we resolved the issue thru the exterior wall - - 2.5k.  

If it's mostly just cosmetic issues (holes in walls, paint, carpet, etc.) you may be able to get it done much cheaper than that.

Worst case is jack up a bad section and break out and replace with new footing and block wall.  

I remember those ones that were fixed to the wall.

Trying to think creatively at the moment and running into a brick wall.

As in, I input the wall-to-wall measurements, tile width, grout width, and it spits back out my cuts?

Previous owner had someone shim the floors so that the floors are level, but the walls have a noticeable lean.So my question is: is it possible to get the house/walls square again?  

We have been involved enough in lawsuits in the past that I know I want to avoid them at all costs, but the county is putting our backs against the wall and I'm running out of options.
