Tiny town (300+ pop).

I fixed up the house a tiny bit and put it on the market and sold it for a loss.Lots of lessons learned here but the main ones include:-never trust a home inspection report when you didn't hire the home inspector-never trust a salesperson's ARV when that salesperson is trying to sell you the property-always get a second set of eyes on a project as I felt pretty helpless sitting in my house outside Toronto and only hearing from one perspective-get the lockbox code from the start so you don't have to ask for it laterIncidentally, I could've exited this project with a potential profit.

Hi All, Does anyone tried using the tiny cabins concept on their property?

They aren't tiny, but on the smaller side for banks. 

Hi All - Has anyone purchased a tiny home STR in a tiny home community?

Year 2017: I bought a 4 unit in west edgewater (Devon and Clark area) units 540 sq ft 2br 1ba tiny and were rented $585.

They are asking if they can live in a container house or tiny home while paying for the land.

On a trip to Colorado last year I saw a Tiny Home Community of about 5 homes and I though that was such a cool idea.

The plan would be to pay back the HELOC using rental income (or just our income if we don't have renters) for about 6 months to season the loan and hopefully build a tiny bit of equity (both through hopefully natural appreciation and forced appreciation in the form of renovations).

As the neighborhood develops and the house ages a tiny bit, I've seen steep drops in the rent rate.
