Landlords publicly complain about rent control while secretly loving it because it discourages new construction, it makes market rents rise even faster than normal and it gives you downside protection because your property will never see a decrease in revenue even in recessions.

If you don't mind airing your secrets, what lenders are you using here in Alaska for portfolio and hard money?

Think about it, they come to your city claiming to have the big secret, thats only their secret, and they can share this big secret to you and few thoudsands people, which no longer would be a secret, but then again since this big secret has been traveling from state to state, city to city, is it even a secret anymore?

I did the same thing, except "moonlight" for me meant secretly in my cubicle at work :) haha.

The problem was the dirty old guru secret, it's as simple as they say, just not as easy.

The wealthiest person in my family is my great-uncle, and I spoke with him about his "secret" to wealth a few years ago.  

I have found some sites provide considerable due diligence type information and others treat it like a national security secret.

I have done a few deals for others along the way so having a license has been a good thing.The secret is that nearly every brokerage will hire you.
