@Jonathan McGee I am a native of Memphis but currently live in Nashville and looking to start investing in real estate in Memphis.

It doesn't natively support real estate investing, though, and the more esoteric the REI style, the less obvious it is to me how to note the investments in the app.In particular, I'm not sure how to enter in such things as investing in notes as well as in apartment syndication. 

I'd agree pretty much with Eddie being a native, but the weather is not crazy, winters are extremely cold, but no different from anywhere else in the north.

Yes being around those talented N'ville musicians would be a boost in itself.

Interesting (to me at least) factoid about myself; I am a professional musician and perform in the USAF band program where I've had the privilege of playing for 3 US presidents, 2 of whom were living.

Artists/musicians have begun to move in.

The key is to partner with a local native resident.
