Some rural desert like Texas counties require lot size to be 20 acres to build anything, but I regularly see 5 and 10 acre lots for sale.In my area near DFW there are developments that sold lots for $50,000-$80,000 from the developer and they had great sales pitches and now you can see 100s if not 1000s of those for sale and significantly lower prices.

PV Mall was a great area back in it's day, but the bigger and better malls that have been built around the area (Desert Ridge, Kierland) left PV Mall in the dust, and it was on it's way toward dying on the vine.
