In looking at Stripe's webpage, they indicate that the first transactions are purposely slow to try to address the inherent risk in online money transfers.  

It's simply an accounting methodology and there are actually no funds transferred between any parties.

The 15 trolley line has a stop at Broad and Girard, and so does the Broad Street Line (BSL); so that would be a single transfer, and quite frankly most riders on BSL and MFL get to those lines via another public transit route (in other words, a transfer is quite typical).And there is also the 48 bus ... goes right downtown ...Public transit isn't problematic in Brewerytown ...
