Justin--that pretty much hits the nail on the head...I expect to be treated no better than a stranger as far as pay goes and because he is a friend I would do more--thats just me.In the last couple of years I have worked for LESS than what a stranger would get and I have been on roofs messing with evap coolers, painting interiors of units, hanging doors/security doors (one solid core door on a laundry room was approx 80lbs and I wrestled that single handed).

I just go to the local IRS office, get a bunch of blank 1099 forms, and write them out by hand (I don't do enough to make it worthwhile to buy the Quickbooks compatible forms, plus I think they require a special type of printer).It's just in the future, the number of 1099 and W-9 forms that I will have is going to increase a bit.

There are some good ones--However, important is to take actions.Read all the blogs and Forums here and comments --Simple basic steps-Make a list of Investors / Buyers first --understand your offering price as compared to ARV, Rehab Costs and other costs --read up on Justins Blog and my comments about Costs --and then read Buye'rs List info on how to find Investors.Then start making lots of offers -- also need to have several conracts prepaerd and have them reviewed by attorney.
