Improving the BiggerPockets Member Blogs: Any Suggestions?

We've made some pretty important changes/improvements to the forums and have some great new features coming to the rest of the site.

That said, I'm looking for your help once again as we begin to plan the next upgrade to the .

For those of you who haven't tried your hand at blogging, the BP blog network is a fantastic place to get going. Not only is getting started quick and easy, but the biggest perk is that you've got a built in network of members who bring instant access to your posts.

We're looking for your suggestions on how we can improve the blogging platform and our various blog directories within the site. What features can be improved? What ideas do you have?

I personally do not read a lot of blogs since they are generally topics that are for self promotion or regurgatations of a forum post or a news article. I prefer the genuine blogs about someone's next flip or a real life experience. I know the name of the game is self promotion but at least if they are genuine, then it's an interesting read.
