My oldest is graduating HS this year and as for now is planning to go to Boise State, so my plan for us is to just buy a house there and have her get some roommates to have them pay rent to cover the cost and get her some experience being a landlord in a way, mainly though since we would have to pay the housing cost anyway we would rather have it be ours to basically "save" the cost of housing.

Sounds very fishy to me...States one of his roommates is 85 and on a wait list for assisted living that could take 3 years also he wants to retire and move south but hasn't made the decision yet
