When Homeaway began to restrict the ability for owners to see the guest's email address or telephone number I was worried that because I could not talk to the guest when they initially inquired (as was my procedure) I would end up having to cancel bookings because the guest might not meet my requirements (age, number in party, non-smoker, no parties, etc.)

I would talk to the city and see what they can do, they may repossess the property as it is a danger to surrounding buildings and the public, they may even sell it for cheap to an investor, because if it is abandoned chances are that nobody is paying the property taxes either.

Rents are collected via social security and donations from non profits as these are elderly people, therefore the rent is paid timely- Thoughts?
