P&B are usually much cheaper to work on (sometimes not if it’s low to ground, poor access, and/or wood rot and termite damage.But, never a need to get scared off, sometimes those are good opportunities if you know a reliable foundation repairman

If it's his you might ask building regulations as they may require repairs or removal.I had a neighbor with rot, pretty intimidating dog, but after the dog and I had a conversation we had a meeting of the minds and he turned out to be a real patsy.

We wanted to do some exterior improvements for something as simple as siding (we wanted to replace rotted wood with Hardi Plank siding: much better) and I had to present a 30 min argument to the city which they shot down and I don't believe even had any intend of changing.

when your hide you hand, the im a contractor from bklyn ny (still here) and im thinking on starting rehabbing and flipping in south florida. its all dried up nyc. i cant tell you how many times people here will haggle with me on price using poor mouthing.... then they are having material shipped from Switzerland for me to install... not always from there but u get the gist.it creates problems for me as i have to change order them rather than give them a price for everything prior. all to save a buck and make a buck...but it ends up costing them more later. where would be a good place to looking for property, around 500k?..

If I know Rich people (in The Netherlands) they would just keep going to court, just to bleed you dry on attorney fees and force you to sell cheap.

I leave most of the other rooms in tact, unless I have work to do behind the walls (framing, rot, etc..) and spot patch as needed.
