Best way to get rid of timeshare?

Need advice on selling or giving away timeshare? My wife bought one years ago, it's paid off but we have never used it and would like to get rid of it. It is in Florida, all you need to pay are the maintenance fees.

donate to charity and take a tax deduction, works best if you owned more than 1 year.

Once I bought 5 adjoining properties for $10 each ($50 total) donated it to a church and took a tax deduction for $26,000 (Chapter 111)
