Although riskier, if your goal is to cash flow $4k as quickly as possible in many cases renting on the short term market like Airbnb will earn you much much more than a traditional rental, in some cases double or triple.

Because there is no step down like on the edge of traditional dry wall you have to float the joint out further to not have a hump.

@Frank Matanane My wife and I do not currently invest in manufactured homes, so I can't speak to the adjustments part, but if your exit strategy is to sell the home to someone who will be owner-occupying you should make sure the property is easily financed using traditional financing.
