It smacks of anti-trust issues and collusion issues.At all the companies I've worked for before, the standard response from attorney's is to knock over a glass of water at the table and make a scene as you disagree with what you're being invited to do - this way other folks can see you refuse participatehttps://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/competition-guidan...This could possibly violate the Sherman Act and may also violate the FTC and Clayton Act.It's not something I would want to involve myself in.
