The technology has been used to protect critical infrastructure in NY like the transit system.

I will never criticize anyone for taking action.

Your best bet is to explain the situation to a loan officer, and see if those funds being included is critical to the loan.

And yes, I do think MLS access is critical.

I've been through a few cycles now and I admit I sometimes feel a little critical of the first cycle people who think they have it all figured out.

More importantly though, the market you buy a turnkey in is the most critical.

Don't think it's fair to criticize the entire profession.  

@Brian Turnbough, I'll accept constructive criticism, and I'll pay it now and forward when it comes to topics on HOA since I have 8 years experience there as a former president.Most people wake up and go to work everyday because they need to support a family or at least themselves.

Just trying to be careful, since I believe this is THE most critical point in being a landlord: screening for the right tenant.  

When we do find something of interest, we owe it to ourselves to ask some critical questions: * who wrote this * what are their credentials * sometimes, we need to as, why was this written?
