Others say it's nice passive income.Is is a very time consuming form of investing?

@Andrew Johnson  they self manage.. its a JOB big time and all consuming.. you cannot make a go of it out sourcing management and repairs you will bleed to death. 

I'm working on consuming content that's available here but would love something to have offline to study as well to see if this is potentially a good fit for me.Thanks for any and all direction!

Need deep pockets otherwise and the builders I've worked for that have the deep pockets still overpay at times and then it's a nightmare when retail pricing is out of whack and the consumer walks.

And no, Redfin, Zillow, and other consumer sites do not substitute for the actual MLS, but they can get you by in a pinch.

It's extremely time consuming to listen to them all, but I drive a truck so I have time to listen.

But too many consumers rely on that data as coming from God.
