As a Newbie, any guidance and knowledge i looked gained from my New York capital region large market investors and biggerpockets. 

I have read a few posts regarding Lansingburgh and North Central in Troy, New York.

We have an Upstate New York meet up in Rochester, NY once a month.

I was told there are portfolio lenders and community banks which would underwrite this type of loan but I live in New York and I do not have any connections with local lenders. 

This isn’t something new, but will escalate even more given the state of other “hot” rental markets that simply don’t make any sense to invest in right now (Austin, Dallas, California, New York, etc.).

Some investors with vast portfolios that already throw off great cash flow will buy properties such as in New York and gamble that it will appreciate through speculation.

The first two are in my home state of new york and the third is in Florida.

I got a CIREC (commercial and investment real estate certified) designation which I think is specific to New York.

Compared to other parts of the country, the real estate stock in New York tends to be very individualized, non-cookie cutter.
