Hi Ronny,If it were me I'd ask them to pay the deductible and see if they go for it.If not, even though $500 is a lot of money, it's probably not smart to get into a challenge with them over it.In my opinion, if the rebar caused the damage and it's on the property, asking for the deductible seems reasonable.Good Luck!
