The tenured brokers in the business do not want to damage their reputation by misrepresenting to another firm on what the commission split would be or what the seller would do.If it is a wholesaler or a fee taker middleman type thing and they have little to no experience that can be a recipe for disaster.

@Bryan Martin - You also need to find out if the units are metered separately or is it master metered and if the owner (potentially you in the future) responsible for any of the expenses as far as the utilities are concerned i.e. electric, gas, water, sewer and trash/dumpsterWith a quad also make sure to get all the expenses (that are applicable) for common area like lighting, sec sys, landscaping, snow removal etc.
