@Russell Brazil No, the note I was in the middle of buying was discharged by the note holder before the sale of the property took place. 

Does anyone know if this is like a Visa or Green Card, or if this is merely an ID of the country of Guatamala?

The state of Illinois has a statute that some people interpret as requiring a license for note holders.

Not sure if it still works but you used to be able to get the southwest cards (both visas and or personal/biz) and rack up the points to get companion pass.

The play for you as the note holder is to get all your cash out so eventually, even if it’s 5+ years you will have infinite ROI for the remaining life of the loan?

Outside of those communities existing permit holders are grandfathered in, but you cannot transfer the permit to a new owner if you sell the property.
