Another tenant keeps complaining that they are smoking and he is 100% sure it is them because they leave the door open and he has seen them. 

Just curious here, but what do you look for / expect to learn in that week you couldn't learn from an investor-focused agent, for example?

We failed to make sure that part was in writing.

And I'm not sure why you single out your flooring because the concept applies across the board.In your particular example, you spent $3,500 on flooring, and $500 has been depreciated.
