OK this will be a weird post but here goes.We have a film crew coming to film and we need a commercial building ideally vacant to film in.Does anyone have or know anyone that purchased like a post office, old church, gas station, office space, ... anything that could be flipped into a single family residence?

I'm looking to develop recurring wealth/revenue in the rental market for a few reasons, one of which being so I can secure flexibility and funding for certain research work and writing that I need to do, but can't do right now due to time constraints (day job requires 40-60 hours per week right now).My current goal is to have 100 doors in the next 10 years, with cashflow of at least $100 per door.

These programs are generally in the commercial space... so we all have to sit tight until they come back online.

Most lenders in that space have either tightened up their guidelines or stopped closing loans altogether.

I've read a lot of your posts, and you are clearly an expert in the commercial space.

Also, for  houses on piers or a crawl space with a block perimeter, each cavity in the block is drilled (usually from the inside of the crawl space) and solution injected into those holes.

There also seems to be enough space to add some extra income sources to the property too.Does this seem like a good deal? 

@Sharon HoThe ceiling height per the code is 7 feet for 30% of the space, not 7 feet for the entire space unless the city has amended the code.  

You mentioned they want more yard space, but adding a deck will take away from that. 

That being said, now is not the best time to look for roommates to share common spaces with so that is something else to think about.
