i've been investing for three years  in Nashville Since you have neither  Capital nor expertise, my suggestion would be to ask a general contractor that specializes in rehabs if you can tagalong with them  when they are going on prospecting calls for new jobs to learn.

No negotiationAfter this shocker, I am now reconsidering whether I should even engage further, because the idea of rehabbing the storage unit to make it profitable was a key driver to purchase the property for myself.I would appreciate if I could get sound advice from veteran professionals on the best thing to do:- Could it be that I did not correctly phrase my inquiry to the clerk over the phone and he resorted to providing a generic one-size-fits-all answer that is not quite in line with what my plans are regarding my prospect property?

I'm not a lawyer, but I can read, and according to this definition, among the list of definitions for a 'broker' of real estate, it lists:"procures or assists in procuring a prospect to effect the sale, exchange, or lease of real estate;"I'm not a lawyer but it sounds like the lawyer met this definition and therefore acted as a 'broker'.

I made sure that other volunteers knew and we made sure we weren't alone with him, but we didn't blab to the neighbors and he was one of the best people we worked with.We've struggled with whether to rent to registered offenders and if so how much to disclose to prospective future neighbors.

If that means making an offer without looiking at your prospective homes just include a clause in the sales contract that states you will have the right to make a detailed inspection before you will close and possibly back out of the deal if the inspection report unveils a cost that was unplanned for without a penalty that will hurt you too much.From all that I have read full time we are in a seller's market but we do not count on things that will happen in the future.
