SFH REI - how important is year property was built ?
Hello,
Does it matter to you how old the SFH prospect is ? Assuming all the other variables (school district, crime rate, cash on cash return, property inspection etc) check out ok.
I have been looking at properties 1980 and newer. But I also see properties that are older (1970s) but look as good as the newer ones.
So, the question is: does it really matter how old the property is, as long as everything else is ok ?
Would love to hear how experienced minds think about it.
Thanks in advance !
