When you are more experienced then you probably will be able to navigate through these issues and handle then in a more informed manner but you are not there yet.I do agree, that some felons have paid their debt to society and we all deserve second chances, however this is your investment, and your business.

Fortunately filing deadline for foreign entities/persons is June NA Lewis that seems like a good idea but bearing in mind that a major company that deals with foreign tax filing could not navigate their way easily through my tax issue I would doubt that Elance CPAs would have the requisite experience or knowledge without also referring me to talk to a Tax attorney.Thanks for your suggestions though.
