I'd like to stay within 50 miles of my job, so I've been researching the market in Somerville and Manville NJ and as far west as Easton, PA.

It is almost exactly one mile east of downtown Colorado Springs, within a 1.5 miles of Colorado College, Memorial Hospital and the Olympic Training Center.

The closest one to me is about 15 miles so the demand is there, but I know that this would be a crazy expensive project and difficult. 

General Question: If I have two properties to choose between 4 BHK Single Story (1650 Sq Feet) inn Leander (Border of Cedar Park) vs 4 BHK Double Story (2100 Sq Feet) in Leander with 5 miles of radius of zip code.

We'll be about 500 miles away so definitely need a property manager, but really wondering if it makes sense to pay an extra 4-5% (monthly) on an upper tier property manager or are most property managers more or less going to provide the same service?
