With all the big real estate coaches pushing social media, the thought of "when everyone zigs, then you zag" so is anyone doing some zags?

If you were to look at my full resume you would be puzzled at how I came to be where I am today because it has things like coffee shop worker, coffee shop manager, airline baggage handler, airline customer service, airline supervisor, landscape installer, landscape supervisor, media intern, irrigation technician.

@Matt Ballenger thanks and you are correct -- I think information is key and I'm not one of those instagram investors (apologies to those who are) -- it seems like some of them are always on there talking about how great and wonderful things are, but like most things on social media, we only see the "successes", not the build-up of what it takes to be successful.

I haven't done a text message integration for about 2 years.

I found flaws in their online, real estate online networking, google search engine optimization and social media presence.

Have you failed your duty to prevent harm by knowingly renting to a sex-offender, somebody who the State deems so dangerous and likely to re-offend that they make them register with the State, have to report their movements and social media presence, and have criminal statutes that prevent them from living certain places?...

If you're not knowledgeable enough to know when to bring in your framer, your electrician, your finishing crew, and negotiate what you need to with them and hold them to account, then be prepared to be taken for a ride.Other than that to answer your original question, the key is to get references that can speak to their abilities and integrity.  

If it would take a couple months of work why wouldn't we just integrate this into our operations, do it, and not have reporting obligations and give up half the income?

I am not saying I’ve been particularly successful but one idea is to leverage your personal networks or social media to entice some family and friend referrals or bookings.
