Currently, I am working on renting out my extra room in my 2 bed, bath condo.

Would refinancing now to simply gain a point (if that) on my current rate affect my ability to carry out one of these other strategies in the next year?

Hi Everyone I have a client who is interested in buying land and building a residential home as well as a large out outbuilding to start a mechanical shop. 

Its working but prices are a bit out of line.

We were planning $600/mo mortgage payment, $100/mo insurance & $100/mo taxes - balloon payment in 5 yrs.We are providing $5k to pay back taxes ($4k), back hoa ($125), pump septic & grease trap clean out ($225), survey ($600)  & our children are paying closing costs ($1500).Deal stalled as owner backed out on seller finance.Suggestions?

The other alternative would be to take good videos and ask them to fill out an application.

., other borrowers in your market, contacts for tried and proven contractors, etc).Of all things to do, you should not hide and ignore phone calls.And last but not least, if none of that works, list the property in hopes to recoup your losses and let another investor take over and get out of the project and take the lessons you learned and apply them to the next one.

Tenant not trusting this work as he is out of home when this work is performed as he has some minor surgery.
