I have found one in Cook County that looks like it will work but after all that I have heard about how difficult it can be dealing with getting tenants out that do not pay rent in Cook County, I am wondering if anyone has had experience with this and could shed some additional light on it for me.THANK YOU!

There's lots of small multi-family in the near western suburbs of Chicago in Cook County in places like Berwyn, Forest Park, Cicero, and Melrose Park but as you move further west into DuPage County multi-family becomes less available.

If you're outside Cook County it gets harder to find 2-4 unit properties. 

I didnt mention it before, but I took my Las Vegas vacation money and instead invested it in an oil well syndication (energyfunders.com).
