The whole situation is just eating away at me, I think the realtor/neighbor is a scumbag,(sorry, its just my personal opinion, and I'm usually spot on when reading people) and he is counseling the sellers to not want the house to sell for cheaper because it will make the value of other houses in the neighborhood, (its a real snooty neighborhood) which includes HIS HOUSE, go down.

We had one instance where the inspector took off half a month of rent because there was a spot of missing paint on the ceiling (which was there when the tenant moved in and the spot was the size of a quarter).

You do the DD, evaluation, run the indicative offer buy your mentor first (looking for blind spots).Like everything else in the REI world.

It simply teaches you how important it is to know and find your "sweet spot" of investing.
