Need feedback about AZ

My friend told me:

First, with AZ properties, there are RV, mobile, etc., and all of these types are very, very cyclical. For instance, some areas are having a mini boom. BUT there's still a ton of inventory, and when the market crashes, it crashes hard. Phoenix is another area. It's always suspect when there's such a huge potential to keep building outward.

Any comments helpful as I figure my way around this.

Trying to understand the economic factors in AZ.

Thanks,

Virginia

Arizona is a good place to invest. Very business friendly, low taxes, relatively inexpensive housing. Also Phoenix metro continues to be one of the fastest growing cities in the US. AZ is also very landlord friendly.

As a place to live, it has decent but hot weather. Mild winters. Great places for hunting, great places to play golf. A huge number of retirement communities. Beautiful mountains and trails.

Some of the state, particularly Tucson, hasn't fully recovered from the recession.
