When a new building was being built near Washington Square Park (essentially a hub for the university and university housing), an investor bought an apartment in the new building.

I know I am purchasing a new class C revenue stream.

I am curious to see what most of my fellow BPers do for their main stream of income, I personally work as an RV sales Consultant and do real estate part time as the opportunities arise.

I’ve always loved the idea of being a RE investor, and having a passive income stream to replace my full time gig.When I first moved to the USA around 4 years ago, I got my real estate license and tried to sell.

Does a future income stream of $1,000 per month for 10 years on just one deal sound too good to be true?

Given that it’s one of the primary measures used to value an income stream, that’s no surprise. 

Having one party rather than two involved in settlement will help to stream line.

Anyway, if I have to go back in time I would try to qualify all of our tenants through section 8 so that the income stream is more predictable.Good Luck,KH
