Hey all! I’m a complete novice from England, currently living in Mt Joy, PA with my wife. I’ve always loved the idea of being a RE investor, and having a passive income stream to replace my full time gig. When I first moved to the USA around 4 years ago, I got my real estate license and tried to sell. It turns out, I’m not great at closing! Working full time at night and trying to show homes during the day eventually took its toll, so I put my license in escrow. I sold one home and basically broke even. Since then, I’ve purchased my primary residence (wish I had known about house hacking before I did!) and am beginning to dive into the huge world that is investing. I’m particularly interested in Multi-family and SFH’s. Currently I’m reading and listening to everything and anything I can get my hands on, paying down some variable debt we should have never incurred in the first place and saving for my first investment. I’m 27 - my goal is to have at least 2 properties by the time I’m 30 years old, then spend the following decade increasing my portfolio. I love the BP Podcast, and I’m looking forward to being part of this community!
